BAGHDAD (AFP) Apr 04, 2003 The southeastern suburbs of the Iraqi capital came under intensive bombing Friday night, an AFP correspondent in the city reported.
The bombing began just after 10:30 pm (1830 GMT), and red streaks were seen lighting up the night sky.
