The coffins, draped in the US flag, arrived aboard a C-17 Globemaster transport plane from the Ramstein Air Force Base in south-western Germany, spokesman Sergeant Mitch Gattle said.

The bodies of 18 other soldiers killed earlier in "Operation Iraqi Freedom" arrived in the United States last week.
