The top Muslim cleric in European Russia, Talgat Tadzhuddin, on Thursday declared a jihad, or holy war, against the United States because of its invasion of Iraq, the Interfax news agency reported. "Russian Muslims have real means of pressure against the United States. We will create a fund for the purchase of weapons and supplies for the Iraqi people," Tadzhuddin said.
