An Iraqi civilian was injured Tuesday when his vehicle was fired on by a US Army AH-64 Apache helicopter during a combat operation north of the central Iraqi city of Najaf, the US Central Command admitted Wednesday in a statement.It added that the injured man was evacuated to a US Army field hospital for treatment and that an investigation had been opened into the incident.
