ARES Corporation announced a contract to provide its AVERT security optimization software and related assessment services to the Defense Human Resources Activity (DHRA).

DHRA will use AVERT to aid in identifying and preempting security threats which, as reported by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), have become more frequent and are now at a record high level.

AVERT will help DHRA enhance the protection of critical assets and facilities worldwide, serving as a critical tool in analyzing security systems to support the agency in the implementation of its optimal security posture.

As a Department of Defense (DoD) Field Activity, DHRA formulates, executes, and oversees DoD-mandated human resource programs, budgets, policies, and initiatives in support of America's armed forces.

DHRA also provides guidance on the effectiveness of personnel operations, as well as support in the readiness and force protection areas. ARES' software and services will support DHRA's Antiterrorism and Force Protection (ATFP) office, which is responsible for protecting DHRA personnel and facilities, at home and abroad.

"As the choice security optimization software for all DoD nuclear facilities worldwide, AVERT has been tested and proven on diverse sites in many environments," said Steve Fogarty, Vice President of ARES' Security Software Solutions. "This contract with DHRA is another milestone in the expansion of AVERT's support and protection of various government agencies."

AVERT is the only tool of its kind on the market, incorporating security technologies, infrastructure, and personnel into a 3D model to calculate the probability of threat detection and neutralization with quantifiable metrics.

With these repeatable metrics, AVERT provides the insight needed to enhance system effectiveness and maximize return on security investments. AVERT has received DHS SAFETY Act certification, which provides users liability indemnification and demonstrates the trust that the Government places in its analytical engine.

AVERT is developed by ARES Corporation, a global technology solutions provider in the Aerospace, Defense, Energy, Construction, Metals/Mining, and Oil/Gas industries.

ARES' clients include government agencies, government contractors, and Fortune 1000 companies. ARES has more than 700 employees in more than 20 offices worldwide.
