APG Helps American Cities Go Green
by Staff Writers

"Our dual fuel solution is the link cities need to take advantage of the President's stimulus package while carrying out the goals of the Clean Cities program," said Rick Kremer, VP Sales and Marketing. "Cities want to become greener, help the country create more jobs and stop the importation of foreign oil. APG's program does all that in one application."

Thousands of cities across the country have what it takes right now to turn their community green and put Americans back to work. The opportunity to capitalize on government stimulus funds is short.

Local governments are looking to leverage these dollars to reduce their dependency on foreign oil, clean up the environment, stimulate jobs and deliver economic savings. American Power Group has the proven technology cities need to capitalize on the stimulus program and bring the future of clean energy to their communities.

APG's dual fuel - which perfectly optimizes a mixture of conventional diesel fuel with compressed natural gas or bio-methane - delivers cleaner and greener power to municipal vehicles, stationary power generators and backup generation applications to name a few.

Through dual fuel technology, APG can provide a fuel enhancement solution that upgrades a city's existing vehicle or stationary power system that costs less and reduces emissions up to 40 percent. It's a program that also reduces our dependence on foreign sources of supply and puts more Americans back to work.

APG's solution is already used in thousands of applications worldwide. Those that use dual fuel have cut operating costs by up to 40 percent by using natural gas to supplement diesel fuel. Generators running on dual fuel also extend their diesel fuel run time by up to 300 percent, which is a critical difference in emergency situations.

The money is out there to make cities a cleaner place to live and work. Thanks to APG's "shovel ready" solution, the technology is available to help make that happen.
