Tonight's launch attempt of an Atlas III rocket with the Navy's UFO F11 satellite was scrubbed because a temperature measurement was below limit on a piece of ground support equipment. The unit interfaces with the booster's liquid oxygen tank. Inspection of the equipment is required to determine the new launch date. The Atlas III rocket was built by Lockheed Martin, and the mission is managed by International Launch Services. The satellite is a Boeing 601 model built for the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command. Related Links International Launch Services SpaceDaily Search SpaceDaily Subscribe To SpaceDaily Express
