Regency Conversions, one of the country's leading truck, van, and sport utility vehicle custom conversion companies, has chosen the TracVision A5 low-profile satellite TV antenna from KVH Industries as an option for many of its new vehicles.

When riding in a Regency conversion vehicle equipped with a TracVision A5 and an in-vehicle video system, passengers will be able to enjoy live DIRECTV programming and CD-quality, commercial-free music virtually anywhere on the open road in the continental United States.

"There is a growing demand for passenger entertainment systems in vehicles and Regency Conversions has been out in front providing it for their customers" said Ian Palmer, KVH's executive vice president of satellite sales.

"We are extremely pleased that Regency, one of the leaders in the vehicle conversion industry, has selected the groundbreaking TracVision A5 as an option for many of its new vehicles. TracVision A5 and mobile DIRECTV service represent the newest evolution of in-vehicle entertainment".

"I am confident that Regency's discerning customers will enjoy the variety and excitement offered by more than 125 channels of live DIRECTV programming while traveling in a Regency conversion vehicle."

TracVision A5 is a low-profile satellite TV antenna designed for passenger vehicles. It is the only in-motion satellite TV system for automobiles currently in production and available to consumers throughout the United States.

The 5-inch high TracVision A5 uses KVH's hybrid phased-array technology to create an antenna with a rugged, sleek design suitable for the family SUV, minivan, or car. KVH's new roof-mount system enables the TracVision A5 antenna to be installed on practically any vehicle, regardless of roof configuration.

"The spaciousness and comfort you find in Regency conversion vehicles lend themselves to in-vehicle video entertainment on a wide range of high-quality screens. Requests for passenger entertainment continue to grow among conversion vehicle consumers and the TracVision A5 provides a unique way for us to meet that demand. KVH's antenna offers outstanding in-motion reception of DIRECTV programming as well as the same high quality and reliability that our customers have come to expect from a Regency vehicle," commented Wayne Davis, president of Regency Conversions.
