A Russian Progress cargo vessel docked at the International Space Station (ISS) Thursday night carrying hundreds of kilogrammes (pounds) of vital supplies, a report said.

The ship brought food such as fruit and vegetables, water, fuel and scientific equipment for the three-man crew of Russian cosmonaut Yuri Malenchenko and US astronauts Peggy Whitson and Daniel Tanin, the Interfax news agency reported citing Russian space officials.
