Landsat Data Continuity Mission (LDCM) Observatory Electromagnetic Interference/Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMI/EMC) testing is underway at Orbital Science Corporation's Gilbert, Ariz., location.

EMI/EMC testing is conducted in order to validate that while the Observatory is on-orbit in space, all Observatory components (including the instruments) can operate successfully together.

After successful EMI/EMC testing, the Observatory will be prepared for a series of mechanical tests next month to validate that the Observatory can survive the launch environment. These images were taken August 7, 2012.
