SatixFy expands satellite tech supply deals with MDA Space surpassing 10 million dollars

SatixFy Communications has secured new agreements with MDA Space Ltd. (TSE:MDA), totaling over $10 million, aimed at advancing satellite communication capabilities. The deals include a newly issued purchase order valued at approximately $6.7 million for engineering prototypes and space-grade semiconductor components. In addition, an amended Authorization to Proceed (ATP) agreement has been finalized, providing another $3.5 million to fund further engineering work and updating the standing master purchase arrangement between the two companies.

These developments follow a previously disclosed $2 million ATP agreement, marking a notable intensification of the partnership between SatixFy and MDA Space. The expanded collaboration centers around the final stages of chipset development and initiating the delivery of SatixFy's high-performance components essential for cutting-edge satellite communication systems.

Under the scope of the new purchase order, SatixFy will deliver engineering models and specialized space-grade chips. These components will be integrated into MDA Space's satellite platforms for in-house testing and assembly. The chips, along with digital beamforming units, are designed to support high-efficiency and powerful satellite communication functionalities.
