CORRECTED: TotalEnergies annual profit falls, reduces low-carbon energy investments
Paris, Feb 5 (AFP) Feb 05, 2025
French oil and gas major TotalEnergies reported on Wednesday a 26 percent drop in net profit for 2024 and said it would reduce its investments in low-carbon energy by $500 million this year.

The company posted an after-tax profit of $15.8 billion, around $1 billion lower than forecast by analysts surveyed by Bloomberg and financial data firm FactSet.
