Previously, Miles led the rollout and implementation of Six Sigma, a quality and process improvement program, across Northrop Grumman's Space Technology sector to improve its competitive position within the aerospace industry. Miles helped achieve substantial savings in production, supply chain, legal and human resources operations by implementing Six Sigma methods, coaching process improvement teams, defining processes and helping to develop common tools for measuring performance against objectives.

"Harry's strong background in business transformation, major program management and process development and improvement will be vital to us as we continue to produce measurable and sustainable improvements at Ship Systems."

Previously, Miles held leadership positions of increasing responsibility on satellite and high-energy laser programs. He earned a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from New Mexico State University.
