AA Great Way To Explore Your Destination

AA Hotel Guide - Based on the UK's best-selling, "Hotel Guide" with over 3,200 AA inspected Hotels in Britain and Ireland. All of the establishments featured have been officially inspected and rated for quality by the AA and graded with 1 to 5 stars. Over 800 budget hotels are featured, ideal for overnight stops. Global leader in personal satellite navigation, Garmin has joined forces with travel experts the AA to produce a series of premium travel guides for your sat-nav, combining welcome inspiration and guidance with simple turn-by-turn directions.

The new guides are based on the popular AA lifestyle paperback versions and are available in seven downloadable categories, from great days out and hotels to golf courses and great pubs, either one guide at a time or as part of a super saver bundle package.

Garmin's Director of Product and Marketing, Clive Taylor said: "The practical combination of the AA's local knowledge and navigation from Garmin means that with a tap of a button you can access recommendations and information on thousands of AA rated establishments and great days out, wherever you are."

The travel guides can be downloaded from Garmin's website and offer detailed AA reviews, prices, opening times, facilities, AA Star ratings and destination photography for most locations, complimenting Garmin's nuvi series of satellite navigation products.

Taylor added, "The guides will let you plan a perfect weekend break or short stay with the confidence that your selected location has the approval of the AA and with our nuvi sat nav's you'll be guided quickly and effortlessly, enabling you to relax and enjoy your break from the very minute you start."

The easy to use guides will display turn by turn instructions to navigate you to your chosen destination, whilst providing establishment reviews and detailed descriptions of what to expect when you arrive. They will also display points of interest on the interactive map as you take your journey, allowing you to discover more than you ever thought possible.
