Astronomers have used the Multi Unit Spectroscopic Explorer (MUSE), attached to ESO's Very Large Telescope (VLT) at the Paranal Observatory, to take advantage of a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to test their understanding of massive clusters of galaxies.
