Thanks to the respected and beloved general's energetic leadership, an artificial satellite center showing our country's up-to-date scientific and technical results and prospects for its development was excellently set up and opened at the Three Revolutions Exhibition Hall.

Yun Un-kyong, reporter of the [Korean] Central Broadcasting Station, meets Comrades Han Won-pong and Sin Yun-hui, head of an office and responsible lecturer of the Three Revolutions Exhibition Hall, respectively.

Yun: The artificial satellite center, which was newly added to the Three Revolutions Exhibition Hall, has been excellently set up today thanks to the respected and beloved general's energetic leadership.

Han: You are right. This artificial satellite center opened after newly adding exhibits through the recent results achieved in the space development thanks to the respected and beloved general's energetic military-first revolutionary leadership.

The respected and beloved general personally saw the [words indistinct] of our Three Revolutions Exhibition Hall on 12 December, chuch'e 78, 1989. Seeing that we cannot make an artificial satellite center separately at the Three Revolutions Exhibition Hall later when our country launches an artificial satellite, he gave a precious teaching on [words indistinct].

The artificial satellite center, which opened in 9 April 1993 by holding high the respected and beloved general's words, is characteristically set up in accordance with the demand of the new century and with the party's intention to newly add exhibits at the Three Revolutions Exhibition Hall.

The respected and beloved general truly foresaw the results to be achieved in our country's up-to-date scientific and technical research and thus bestowed ardent love and consideration to set up the artificial satellite center. There is nobody in the world quite like our general who leads our destiny at the vanguard while even foreseeing the bright and brilliant future of becoming a rehabilitated and prosperous powerful socialist state.

Yun: What are being displayed at this artificial earth satellite center which was newly prepared thanks to the respected and beloved general's energetic leadership?

Sin: At our artificial satellite center, a replica of the artificial satellite Kwangmyongsong No.1, which was made and launched by our scientists and technicians with our power and technology, one type of artificial satellite model that will be developed in our country, documents on the achievements the mankind has made for space (?development) and their prospects, and documents on astronomical information are on display.

Also, we can personally look at the rotation of the earth including recorded programs on the night sky of Pyongyang on 15 April, the 90th birthday of the fatherly leader [suryongnim], and the launch of Kwangmyongsong No.1.

We will explain in detail the respected and beloved general's warm love related with the artificial satellite and the achievements made in the developed science and technology fields, including astronomical information, to the visitors. By doing so, we will actively contribute to making the workers possess strong national dignity and pride and uphold the respected and beloved general's powerful state building plan with strong faith.
