Space shuttle Endeavour blasts off towards space station
CAPE CANAVERAL, Florida, Nov 14 (AFP) Nov 15, 2008
The space shuttle Endeavour blasted off Friday evening carrying seven American astronauts on a mission to improve and expand living quarters on the orbiting International Space Station.

The two solid rocket boosters separated from the shuttle about two minutes after launch from Florida's Cape Canaveral on its way to a rendezvous with the space station.
